Following a series of unfortunate events, including RWA dis-invitation; complaints of unpaid royalties; and the resignation of Gail Northman, Triskelion Publishing is reportedly closing its doors. According to Dear Author, Triskelion will be filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.
The following, posted on Triskelion's website, confirms the fact that they are going out of business. I see no mention of bankruptcy:
Sadly, Triskelion Publishing will be closing its doors on July 2, 2007. We'd like to thank our readers for all their support and our authors for providing endless pleasure and memories that we will treasure forever.
I'm very sorry to hear this. Very sorry.
Speaking to authors: if you have a book contracted by Triskelion and have not requested your rights back, you should do so immediately
. If Triskelion files bankruptcy as Dear Author has reported, the company's assets will be frozen, making things very complicated.
Get your rights back now.
